The Self-Funded Search Conference is the only conference dedicated exclusively to the self-funded search model of entrepreneurship through acquisition (“ETA”) – exclusively for self-funded searchers. This annual conference is hosted by the Self-Funded Search Association (“SFSA”), a not-for-profit organization (NFPO) for individuals who are seeking to purchase a company through the self-funded path to entrepreneurship through acquisition.

The Self-Funded Search Conference is a not-for-profit event, with all proceeds reinvested into the conference to maximize value to attendees.

This conference is designed to educate, encourage and equip current and prospective self-funded searchers to succeed in their mission of identifying and acquiring a small or mid-sized business. The conference will bring together self-funded searchers, lenders, service providers, operators, and other professionals in the self-funded search ecosystem to explore this rapidly growing market.

Attendees will attend panels and workshops on a variety of topics including: sourcing acquisition opportunities, valuation, structuring and submitting offers, performing financial diligence, securing debt financing, performing insurance and benefits diligence, legal diligence and documentation, raising equity, and more.
